Scan documents with your phone

Photo a paper, drag the corners, and get a clean, straightened scan — then download it as an image or a multi-page PDF. Free, no watermark, no sign-up. Your documents never leave your device.

How it works

  1. 1

    Photograph the page

Tap the big button and your camera opens (or choose a photo from your gallery). Lay the document flat in good light — a table by a window works great. Nothing is uploaded, ever.

  2. 2

    Corners find themselves

A green scanner sweeps the photo, the corners snap onto the page edges automatically, and a preview of the finished scan appears by itself — straightened, cleaned and facing you. Tap “Adjust corners” only if it needs a nudge. RokzScanner straightens the perspective and restores the paper's true proportions — a page photographed at an angle comes out flat, rectangular and properly A4-shaped — and the built-in cleanup whitens the paper, removes shadows and sharpens the text like a real scanner.

  3. 3

    Stack pages & download

Repeat for every page — they line up as thumbnails. Then download a single page as an image, or everything as one multi-page PDF ready to submit.

Frequently asked questions

Are my documents uploaded to a server?

No. Photos are processed entirely inside your browser — nothing is uploaded, and closing the page removes everything. That matters when you're scanning IDs, contracts, grades or medical papers.

Why is this tool for phones and tablets only?

Scanning starts with a camera photo, so RokzScanner is built for the device you actually photograph with. On a computer, just open rokzpdf.com/scan on your phone — the address is short on purpose.

Can I scan multiple pages into one PDF?

Yes — scan page after page and they stack up as numbered thumbnails. Download PDF combines all of them, in order, into a single file. You can remove any page before downloading.

Does it clean up the photo?

Yes, automatically — every scan is straightened, the paper is whitened, shadows and uneven lighting are removed, and the text is darkened so it looks scanned, not photographed. No settings to fiddle with.

Any tips for a clean scan?

Lay the page flat on a dark, plain surface — contrast is also what makes the automatic edge detection lock on instantly, shoot from directly above in daylight or bright room light, and avoid your own shadow. Then fine-tune the corners — a few pixels make a big difference.

Is it really free, with no watermark?

Yes — completely free, no watermark on your scans, no sign-up, no page limits. Part of the same free toolkit as the PDF editor, resume builder, interview prep and ID photo maker.
